OK, so the weekend’s plans of seeing a movie didn’t quite pan out, but that’s ok. Amber and Michelle were going to come with on Sunday, but it all ended up falling through in the end. Kind of a blessing tho, as we ended up taking care of the house instead, which needed to be done. Got away neglecting it Saturday, but it never takes long to reel us back in. Maybe we’ll go to a night showing sometime this week.
I think I’m going to end up cutting down the crabapple tree before too long. If I cut it off and then dig out the stump, it should come out. (I’m not saying it wouldn’t suck, I’m just saying it can be done.) The biggest problem would be getting rid of it after the fact, which would either involve a lot of lawn and garden bags, or a nice fire. Of course, it’s hard to light a sufficient flame in such a small yard, but we’ll see.
Speaking of fire, someone is coming to sweep the chimney and clean out the pellet stove today, so I just called home to remind Laura to point out some stuff to the guy when he shows up.
