PHP and me

So far, so good. (So what?!)

What I want to accomplish in the end with the review site is this: Have a main review page, where only the latest review shows. Under that, have a link for “Latest 5 Reviews” or something. I’ll also never have to fill out “New” on a review and remove it later, the last 5-7 reviews will always be labeled new.

Under that, have links for genre, clicking will showing all reviews for each, and one link for all, which would be what the default is now. Gonna take me some thyme, but I think I can do it. Maybe later a search, but that’s so beyond what I’m doing right now.

The hardest part is going to be getting this stupid machine on the internet so I can actually use it. There’s the dyndns thing that costs money but can be incorporated into my router, or to just use zoneedit straight up with some linux client. We’ll see. This machine is only a PII266 with 192M RAM and 4G HD. It’s nothing heavy.

Speaking of, I need a good backup plan.

In other news, the Sox really stunk it up last night. Nomar had two errors, and Millar chipped in with one of his own. After seeing Damon hit two homeruns on three pitches, I thought we had a chance, but there is no hope for a team who has no defense.

Yes, I watched the whole ugly thing. Yes, the only reason I did that was because I was scoring it and didn’t want an incomplete card.
