It’s not as frustrating going down 8-0 in Game One of the ALCS, which the Red Sox did last night, than it is knowing how they got themselves into that jam. Curt Schilling’s ankle problems are a lot worse than I would have thought, and this puts a shadow of doubt over everything in the series now.
The rally to come back to a 8-7 game was amazing, yet unfortunately it wasn’t enough and we lost 10-7.
But all is not lost. We have to win tonight. Then, if we can take two of three at home, we’d have two final shots in NY to beat the Yankees.
Can it be done? Sure thing. We just need Pedro to shine tonight in the worst way.
In other news, I’m thinking of getting a new car. Laura’s all for it, as we’ll be trading in her car and she’ll be getting my Protege. The question than needs to be asked now is when to go ahead with it.
