Okay, alright. I know. The Sox had the bat but not the pitching in the first game, and the pitching but not the bat in the second. But you know what? You’ll watch as the two halves meet, and we’ll have both good hitting and good pitching throughout the Boston leg of the series, and then we’ll go back to New York in shape to take it to them at home.
Or, we’ll fold like a house of cards in a stiff breeze.
Either way, I’ll be watching. At times, I’ll be in the fetal position on my sofa. At others, I’ll be excitedly pacing the floor. It’s the price you pay for being a Sox fan, and I don’t know any other way.
