It sure wasn’t the prettiest game the Sox have ever played, but they won it, and that’s the most important part. It’s good to get a win on a Wakefield start to beging things, as we still have Schilling and Pedro to follow.
I feel absolutely terrible. Started hitting me midway through the game last night, but now I’m overrun by some kind of cold or the flu or what the hell ever. The only reason I’m online right now is I have to figure out what’s wrong with my backup script before the end of the weekend. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to it yesterday before I fell ill.
Game 2 tonight, I hope I’m feeling well enough to stay up through the whole thing.
