Just when you thought everything was cool…
you hear that Curt Schilling is endorsing Bush. Arrrgh! At least he didn’t go on the campaign tour with him.
Finished ripping the CD collection to iTunes this week. (I rip MP3 at 128kbps.) It wasn’t exactly fun, but it wasn’t that difficult either. Just took a long time. Lots of insert disc, wait, remove disc, repeat. Put on the Party Shuffle last night for the whole library, and had Skid Row leading into Aretha Franklin, and Slayer into Curtis Mayfield. Oh, what fun!
Got a little group of friends together to get Matt a free Xbox. Since he’s the only one of us that doesn’t have one, and with Halo 2 coming around the corner, I didn’t want him to get left out of all the fun. Yeah, he’s still gonna have to buy the game and an online subscription, but we can at least get him started.
Yeah, I’m still waiting on the iPod thing. I’m next in line in a “conga”, so maybe it’s not as improbable as I once thought. If I get even a few signups from that, then I might be more motivated to bother more people, but in the meantime, I have a wait and see attitude.
Now that baseball is over (Yay Sox!), expect more movie reviews. I’ve been trying to catch up a bit on things I’ve seen recently, have about 4 more to go.
