For Shame, USAirways

I just went to print out my boarding pass for my flight this afternoon on the ol’ iMac, when I got this message:

“Flight Check-In is only available to Internet Explorer users. We are sorry for the inconvenience.”

So, I had to abandon Safari, and use the ancient IE 5.2 for Mac, and even that gave me an error. It first told me that there was no record of me on this flight, and to check in when I got to the airport. After I hit OK to that, it listed my name, and then asked me to confirm before it let me print out my pass.

Would be nice to know there is at least a little browser compatibility testing done for a website designed by a major airline (!?!), but I guess that’s just too much to ask.

It doesn’t sound to me like that would be very ADA/Section 508 compliant, either.
