Score it.

Bob Ryan recently wrote an article for the Boston Globe about scoring baseball games. Well, sorta. Most of the article is little more than “dropping games” because he thought of it way before you did, but it’s nice to see that people still bother to do it.

Myself, I haven’t scored many games this year at all, as I haven’t been able to sit down and watch many all the way through without something or other distracting me. For instance, I started scoring the first game of the Sox/Cubs series this year, but spent so much time on the phone with Verizon trying to get my recent phone problems straightened out that I gave up. The fact that we were getting shelled didn’t help either.

If it sounds interesting but you don’t know how to do it, some lovable scamp once wrote a primer for you to get started with. And wouldn’t you know, I, err, he also provides a PDF scorecard for you to print out and use.
