Congratulations to Matt and Mayumi, who welcomed little Ren Connor into their family early Tuesday morning. The little man is healthy and happy, and mom is getting as much rest as possible.
Laura told me a story the other day that a coworker told her about someone who had a squirrel problem. He’d catch them, take them away, and let them go. Unfortunately, the problem didn’t seem to get any better, so he had a suspicion that he might be catching and releasing the same ones repeatedly. So, he spraypainted the tails of the next few he caught, and drove them 20 miles away, and over the Bourne Bridge into Cape Cod. Sure enough, they returned, painted tails and all.
Caught mice #6 and #7 this morning, and to ensure that we’re not also catching the same two over and over again, I took this pair out for a little drive this morning. Brought them about 30 miles away, just south of Gillette Stadium. That way, they can perhaps sneak into some Patriots games instead of trying to gnaw into my peanut stash.
Working on two site projects now, and really liking how they’re turning out so far. More later.
