Damnit! I was using the Flash 8 demo on the Mac–because that’s where the tablet was installed and I was feeling too lazy to move it–and I had this neat idea for an animation that I wanted to try out. So, I was sketching this and that, when I realized I hadn’t saved the file yet. So I go to File - Save, give the file a name… AND THE DAMN THING UNEXPECTEDLY QUITS ON ME.
No file is saved in the aftermath, and my ambition is suddenly yanked out from under me. Last time, it was Illustrator CS that did this on me, an Adobe product. This time, it’s a Macromedia program. I’m trying my best to warm up to the Mac, being the longtime PC user that I am, but this will not stand.
To think, I was all ready to get Flash 8 for the Mac, just so all of our creative software would be on the same machine. Good thing I didn’t, as crashing bugs like this will make that impossible. So frustrating…
