In my continuing quest for the perfect Mac editor, I happened across this new (X)HTML Editor Review website. It’s just getting started, but it already has some reviews written out, and a couple of interviews with established designers, so you can get their thoughts on the the tools they use.
Myself, I’m still extra-partial to HTML-Kit on the PC, but things on the Mac side are still up in the air. I bought skEdit, but after reading this interview, I’m currently kicking TextWrangler around again. I look forward to the day when I find something I can stick with, and maybe this new site will help me get there.
While I’m on the subject, I’ll add these two to my list of favorite Firefox extensions. Both of these sit nicely in the Status Bar, ready for use:
MeasureIt - Get screen measurements right the first time.
ColorZilla - For when you need a hex code for a color quickly.
