Put the Flying V up on Craigslist this morning. Sucks that I have to sell it, but I really don’t have the space for it now that I’ve lost my office.
Rain came down like crazy last night, which had me a bit worried. We finally got a ton of wood pellets delivered yesterday afternoon, and due to the threat of rain when I got home, hadn’t yet moved them into the basement. They’re covered in a plastic wrap and we taped an old shower curtain around it as a second protective layer. I believe it held up pretty well, but I won’t know for sure until I uncover it. There’s nothing more usless than soggy pellets.
Half day today, and then I’m out of here until Wednesday. Have a great fourth, everyone.

We’re having our monthly party tomorrow and although it’s not 4th of July themed it does have a sort of revolutionary quality with it’s own kind of fireworks. It’s a Jamaican Me Crazy party!! I’ve got some dreadlocks now…I’ll have to post pics later! Ya mon.
Hey, we were just discussing these pellet stoves and wonder if it’s more economical than buying a cord of wood?

Heh heh, sounds like a blast. Pun fully intended.
I understand that the stoves themselves are expensive, but apparently you can also get an adapter device to burn them in an existing woodburning stove/fireplace.
Here’s me and the ton of pellets I just bought (taken right after I carried them all down into the basement). Gotta figure that’ll burn for quite a good time, but they do take up a lot of space. Price delivered: $280

Where are the new movie reviews? Here are mine: Jesus is Magic was just okay. King Kong stunk. Bob Le Flambeur was pretty good but wasn’t Rififi. Game 6 was alright as was Kiss Kiss Bang Bang.

I know, I took the holiday weekend off from writing them. The Matador should be next.
Warning Sign was good. All For the Winner was pretty great, if not totally weird. Freedomland was lame.
Jesus is Magic was just OK? That\’s sad.

I dug Jesus is Magic. But I also saw it in theaters, so just watching the material on a big screen with complete strangers adds to the humor of Sarah Silverman.
