Fun and Games
The Sox and Yankees are playing five games in four days this weekend. Total number of games I expect I’ll be able to catch: Two. All depends on how motivated I can get myself to do all the things that I want to do around the house this weekend.
Anyone interested in starting up a just for fun Yahoo! Fantasy Football league? The guys I usually play with are being unexpectedly silent about it this year. It’s good fun, free, and doesn’t require all that much effort at all.
All hail Dead Rising. I’m not finding as much time to play it as I’d like, but it’s the most fun I’ve had playing a game since GTAIII came out.
Tonight, Laura, Amber, Michelle and I are going to see Patty Larkin …somewhere in New Bedford. The tickets were actually a birthday present to Laura back in April, so it’s nice that she’ll actually be able to enjoy them now.
The chimney is repaired. I’d post a picture, but I don’t have one. Maybe later. Regardless, I think they did a great job, and when we need some more work done on the house (and we will—the porch could be next), I’ll be sure to call Brian at HRJ Enterprises in North Dartmouth (508.679.7992) first.1 
Peter has a review of Snakes on a Plane up on his horror blog. Sounds like the good time we all expected it to be. I’m still wary about the excessive CGI though.

I mean, the World Cup was a blast to watch and all, but how the hell could you score individual achievement in Fantasy Soccer? Passes completed? (Dives taken?)
Apparently, it exists, and if we can get a few more people I’d be willing to try it, but the only way to watch EPL games is to get some wacky sort of cable subscription or something.

Yep, I’m actually at home watching now. Didn’t think I’d be this available this afternoon. Gonna have to miss the night game for the concert however.
No interest in the football/futbol then? I just pulled a team out of my ass for the EPL. It’s salary cap format, so I just bought… whoever.
