Got an email this morning from Brett Gurewitz, thanking me for my work on the Bad Religion page on Wikipedia. Of course, my skepticism led me to think that there’s probably someone playing a prank on me from an ip address in Irvine, CA, but I replied anyways. The fanboy in me couldn’t resist.
Firefox 2.0 is out on FTP, wide release/automatic update should come soon. The best new feature I’ve noticed thus far is the spell check as you type. Great for forum posts and journal entries.
Two new reviews posted: The Wisdom of Crocodiles and Hostel.

It’s funny how completely inverse we are on Hostel vs Cabin Fever.

I actually thought that you liked Hostel, that is, until I looked it up on your site and saw that you… umm… didn’t. Heh.
Laura and I were actually quite relieved that it wasn’t anywhere near as bad as we were expecting it to be. We were just about ready to place Roth next to Boll on the “Do Not Watch Under Any Circumstances” list.
My brother emailed me to complain about my review, saying I gave Hostel two too many stars. I didn’t even realize he bothered to read this site.
You loved CF and despised Hostel. I abhorred CF, thought Hostel was OK. I’m in no hurry to see it again, won’t be adding it to my collection (and I certainly won’t be starting a fan site), but I found it passable in the same way that Wolf Creek was passable.

I thought I remember some invitation to consider building a new website for Bad Religion.
Am I imagining this or did anything ever come of it?

He said, “I noticed that you’re a webmaster, would love to see more of your work.” Never replied to my response after that.
Although their website will probably need a facelift soon. New album this summer and all.
