Attention horror fans! The Rob Zombie hosted TCM Underground will be airing The Conqueror Worm (aka Witchfinder General) late this Friday night.
Having only heard of this film for years, it’ll be great to finally see it. Will it be any good? Who knows? All I know is that I’m not going to miss my chance to see it, that’s for sure.
As if you really needed any other reason to just automatically record this time slot via your TiVo, video capture card or VCR by now. (Hell, set up a web cam or camcorder in front of the damn TV if you have to.) TCM Underground is easily the best film series currently running on the best movie channel out there. With IFC recently showing (and then re-running) nothing but garbage, and Sundance being inexplicably linked with Showtime on DirecTV, it’s not even a close call anymore.
