Oh, for crying out…
Look who’s come to Boston. Clutch is playing downstairs at the Middle East both tonight and tomorrow night.
And guess who just found out about it?
Now guess if they’ve sold out both nights or not.
DAMN!

Oh man, that would be so cool to see them. I know it’s not the first time they’ve played at Middle East- I think I noticed they were there a few months ago (end of summer?)
I’m sure they’ll be back!

Bummer!
That would definitely be a great show to catch.
I love Clutch! The self-titled album is my favorite. Here’s a drawing I did for my friend Vin (drummer in many of my early bands) as an inlay card for a cassette that I mailed to him years ago. You can see the fold lines where the words “SUPERCOOLNOTHING” is on the right side while looking at the edge of a cassette case.
SuperCoolNothing
It’s a hi-res image so you can look closely at some of the details in the drawing. Vinny and I would “dose” on Jolt and FunDip sugar packet/sticks before going to under-age punk and metal shows. That was before we got old enough to, ya know…experience true cognitive liberty.
There’s many references to the song “Space Grass” and the image of the car was one derived from memory of my Mustang, not a real Galaxy 500. I knew nothing of Jerry Garcia in those days, back then I got my space grass from Willie Nelson. He’s got the killer stuff!
JESUS ON THE DASHBOARD…OH YEAH!!!
Do what feels right.
