Reviewing TV series, even those as excellent as Deadwood, doesn't really appeal to me.

But yeah, Deadwood is as good, if not better, than a similar length run of the Sopranos. Whether or not Deadwood would have hit a similar stumbling block at Season Five like the Sopranos did can never be determined, for reasons you'll have to ask HBO for.

I think I ended up liking more characters from Deadwood than I did from the Sopranos. Sopranos started strong, then weakened -- Deadwood started iffy, got really really strong.

I liked Paulie in the beginning, but then the stuff with his mom got old real quick. Didn't care for Dan Dority or Johnny to begin with, but their stock rose with time.

"Swedgin" > Tony, but Dr. Melfi > decapitated indian.

I was hoping for a review of Deadwood. Better than Sopranos?

I'll be watching a lot more ESPN this year.

Good luck with fantasy baseball. It's the chore disguised as a game!

Like you ever bother to write a review...

I broke my fantasy baseball cherry last night. I picked up Hideki Okajima in hopes that Papelbon become ineffective (injury or otherwise).
