Gone With the Wind

This morning I noticed that the recent high winds had ripped a piece of siding off of the edge of my roof, and tossed it into the yard. I have no idea what I’m supposed to do about that. While I was driving up to work this morning, I looked around and saw a few other houses that had the same problem. Ah, the perks of being a homeowner.

Edit: It could have been worse

Laura got a package from her brother in Seattle yesterday. The box looked rather “well traveled”, so I left it alone for her to open when she got in. When she opened it, all we found were pieces of glass, but a letter left amongst the wet packaging material confirmed that it was once homemade Kaluha. Now that’s a freakin’ shame.

Laura got on the phone and called Noel to thank him for the “soggy paper and shards of glass”. I was laughing too hard from that line to remember anything else she might have said.

Cinematical posted a link to a Tartan Video MySpace site where they’re asking for people to vote for their favorite Sympathy for Lady Vengeance movie poster. You have to have a MySpace account to vote. The film is set to open in limited release on April 28.
