I got an email today, saying that an old friend of the family, Rudi van Dijk, passed away this Saturday. My father had just come back from seeing his new piece performed in Germany about a month ago. He brought back a CD that was made live at one of the opening performances. I am going to give it a spin tonight in his memory.
