Hooked Laura up with a Blogger account and set her up here as well. She was concerned that she wasn’t writing as much as I was, and she’s the one who actually wants to write! With all my K5 this and that, I was getting more practice in, she got jealous, and now she’s here.

It’s snowing today. Took me a long time to get home as there was a lot of traffic in Taunton near the green. Tried to get all clever and go around it, but apparently so did a hell of a lot of other people so I was just as screwed. Took me an extra forty-five minutes or so to get home. Wanted to stop and call Laura that I was going to be late, but I figured that I might as well just get home sooner and keep going so she wouldn’t have to worry.
Got to listen to a lot of music on the way home tho, that’s always a good thing. Still, I don’t like the way my car handles in snow, so it was a very slow affair.
I just replied to Canthros’ diary on HuSi. I’m never on these sites that late, especially on a weekend. Oh no, I think I’m being assimilated.
Thought about leaving K5 a few different times, but I just can’t do it. I’d miss too many folks there. So I do the diary thing there, and read more than post on HuSi. The biggest difference for me between the two sites isn’t so much the signal to noise ratio, which of course is better on HuSi, but the fact that K5 charges for the extra scoop features. I still don’t care. I like it there. It’s… real in the most fake virtual sense imaginable.
Ok, the real reason I’m typing this up now, I’m on my slackware laptop and I’d rather type than try to figure out how to get the damn fonts working. My site looks pretty crappy if you don’t have the right fonts installed. Not that anyone visits there anyways, but you get the point.
Was planning on getting my car inspected this weekend, as it’s overdue as well as Laura’s, but this snow thing is going to impede. Randy’s karate school opening too.. I’ll have to hit that early, as soon as I’m finished shoveling if there’s any chance of me checking it out. I said I would!
Laura’s got control of the TV today. Trading Spaces, What Not To Wear… No wonder I’m hitting the wine and the internet. ;^)
